New York, New York

The room was gorgeous, the beds luxurious, and the water pressure was excellent in the bath/shower. The online check in option was really helpful, as was the ability to check our bags in ahead of ourselves. Not having to lug baggage around Las Vegas for the 6 hours between our arriving flight and hotel check-in was wonderful. We also appreciated the effort to support accessibility to ride-share services. It made getting to our favorite off-strip restaurant very convenient.

What we didn't particularly like: It's odd that 4-star resorts always have fewer basic amenities than 2 & 3 star hotels. Namely, your basic room at New York New York has no fridge or microwave, two things I take for granted since every 2 & 3 star motor lodge I've ever stayed in has them. Per the calculations from the fitbit count, it was about a quarter of a mile from the room to the nearest elevator, and at least that distance again from the elevator to the curb. Not a problem coming in, since our bags were checked in early and delivered, but lugging the bags back out was kind of an ordeal. I still have no idea where the pool even was because I never could find the correct directional signage, and it was much too easy to get disoriented on the casino floor.
