From the wet-dog/burning tire smell of the bed linens to the fact that one had to pay for wifi, the shower was tiny and chipped, and the walls were so paper-thin that I could hear everything on the TV program in the next room over, there was nothing to like about this hotel.

What we kind of like, though was that the staff was friendly enough.
