Strömmingsvagnen
Stockholm, Sweden
August 22, 2018
Ok, so this is fishy fish. There's no getting around that, and I knew it going in, so no points off for my not liking the fish. Raz thought the fish to his liking, and he finished the fishy portion of my Special. The potatoes were amazingly well executed, all creamy and in absolutely no need of extra sauces to make them tasty. Raz had the Strommingsrulle, which is basically the traditional Swedish version of a fish burrito. Again, lots of fishy fish, but the flatbread is pretty impressive in its texture and taste. We both filled up at a price under 200 Kr for the pair of us, which is a feat we couldn't repeat anywhere else on our stay in Sweden, so this humble food truck in Gamla Stan gets 4 stars for its value.
