Perk Ranger Coffee House
Corrales, NM
November 24, 2018
Corrales is a lovely bit of countryside amid the Albuquerque/Rio Rancho urban sprawl. We don't slow down enough to come through often, but each time we do we find some new little gem that makes us want to come back. Today it is Perk Ranger Coffee House. Not only was the proprietor one of the nicest people we have had the pleasure of dealing with, she was extremely receptive to feed-back and even requested it proactively in order to customize her signature drinks to our taste preferences.
I tried the Biscochito Latte, which was a liquid distillation of winter baking with my grandmother. Not only tasty, but warming and comforting from the inside out. I talked Raz into the Spicy Hot Cocoa, and we both adored it. We also split a little cup of the made-from-scratch chocolate pudding, which was some of the best we've ever had. We are definitely fans, and aim to go back more often to slow down and unwind, especially when the weather warms up and we can take advantage of the lovely patio!
