Indian Food & Grocery

Albuquerque, NM

July 15, 2018

Every time we're in the neighborhood, we contemplate eating here, then don't because we're on the wrong side of Wyoming Blvd when we pass again. We finally made the U-turn and came back for the buffet.

It's a good, solid, buffet with quality choices. We were in on a Sunday, and Goat Curry was an option. That immediately elevated this place in our opinion, because it's one of Raz's favorite things and it's not particularly easy to find. The Mango custard and rice pudding desserts on the buffet were particularly tasty on our visit, and the basket of freshly baked Naan that arrived to our table just as we sat down was a clencher for that 4th star.

The restaurant is spotless and tidy, and the grocery, while small, has a good selection of exactly what I look for when wanting to try recipes from my favorite Indian cookbook. All-in-all a positive stop, and since we managed Sunday lunch for 2, and restocking our home supply of sweets under $30, we will be back.
