We didn't stand on any corners in Winslow AZ this morning, nor spend an interminable length of time contemplating the good, the bad, and the ugly of life. What we did was head directly to this corner of the town for breakfast at the only non-fastfood restaurant open on this Sunday morning.

We were super happy to find this little family restaurant open, and I was pleasantly amused by the decor that probably hasn't changed in the last 60-odd years. Raz ordered me coffee as I went to wash up, and it arrived just as I came back from the immaculately clean ladies room.

That cup wasn't empty for the rest of our visit. Our lovely server was so very pleasant and prompt with refills that I was filled with a joyfully caffeinated glow well before our huge plates of food arrived. I'm not giving any stars for quality on the food, but an $11 breakfast that could easily feed 2-3 people is a good value regardless of taste.
