The Buena Vista Roastery Cafe
Buena Vista, CO
October 21, 2018
We stopped in to grab something warm, as we'd been freezing since we left Leadville before dawn. I was instantly beside myself with joy when I spied the Morrocan. I mean cardamom, coriander, and ginger in a single cup, it's like the coffee shop tailored a drink just for me! Well almost, since if it was actually tailored for me it would include a full shot of honey too.
Raz went for the Honey Badger, due to the ceyenne. He liked his drink quite a bit, though I did have to remind him that the first word in its name was Honey when he looked askance at the sweetness. The spice was right on, and it wasn't super sweet, just enough to offset the walk-across-the-counter-and-jump-into-the-glass-all-by-itself boldness of the coffee.
As for me, I know that next time I'm heading through Buena Vista, CO, I'm stopping in for another Morrocan, though I will definitely ask for a couple extra spoons of honey next go-round!
